On December 29, the Berlin cinema “Colosseum” will host a special festive screening of the iconic Soviet comedy “Ivan Vasilievich: Back to the Future” — on the big screen with live musical accompaniment. This is a rare chance to watch the cult classic in the original Russian with English subtitles, surrounded by a warm and festive New Year atmosphere.

Organizers note that the film’s relevance and charm remain strong more than fifty years after its release. Gaidai’s comedy is still witty, energetic and instantly recognizable.
