From September 12 to 14, 2025, the center of Augsburg will once again turn into a huge open-air stage. The international street art festival La Strada will bring together artists from different countries to give residents and guests of the city a real celebration.

When and where the festival takes place

• Dates: September 12–14, 2025

• Time: 4:00–9:00 p.m. (main program until 8:00 p.m.)

• Locations: six squares in the center of Augsburg:

Highlights of La Strada 2025

Previously, the festival marked the beginning of summer, but now it has been moved to September. This decision helped relieve the crowded summer season and gave the city another colorful celebration at the start of autumn.

This year, visitors can expect:

• 16 street art groups from 11 countries

• Jugglers, acrobats, musicians, clowns and puppet theaters

• A family-friendly atmosphere – performances end in the early evening

Festival program

Every day from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. performances will take place on all six squares. Among the participants are:

• Heromacro (acrobatics and strength shows)

• Agro the Clown (clown performance)

• Companie Trisoleil (new circus)

• The Street Circus (circus acts)

• Surprise Effect (dance show)

• Bence Sarkadi Theater of Marionettes (puppet theater)

• Galirò (musician with unusual instruments)

  and many others.

Practical information for visitors

• Free entry. Artists earn through Hutgeld – voluntary donations from the audience.

• Best way to get there is by bike or public transport. Swabi offers 60 free minutes of bike rental with the code LASTRADA.

• Night ridesharing service Swaxi is available from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

• Toilets are available at Rathausplatz (near Bürgerinfo) and Königsplatz.

• The festival takes place even in rainy weather; cancellation of specific performances is up to the artists.
